Comment: I have been given an old Western clay trap (X model) which works OK but I have no manual to see what it can do. I've just tried looking on your website and found the manual but was unable to click the download box. I see that the manual is free of charge but I cannot work out how to get it and it would be expensive to mail the manual to me. Any suggestions. many thanks, Richard

ANSWER:

Western Retro uses an online shopping cart system for digital downloads like manuals as well as parts, traps and accessories.
Manuals are free but you need to sign up for an Account.

Here are the steps to do the user manual (ie. X model Western "White Flyer" Electric Trap):

1) Go to the manuals section on the Western Retro Store. http://store.westernretro.net/index.php/manuals.html

2) Click the manual you would like to download. http://store.westernretro.net/index.php/manuals/western-x-mo del-v1524c-trap-manual.html

3) Scroll to the bottom of the page where it says "Click Download Box" [ ] Trap Manual. Place a check mark in the box.

4) Select your quantity and then Click "Add to Cart" which will open the Shopping Cart.

5) Click "Proceed to Checkout" where you can establish an Account. New users will need to register. We ask you for contact information and no payment information is required. Downloads are free. Existing customers will need to login with the user name and password.

6) Now review your order. Then click "Place your order". You will receive an order confirmation which will include a link to "My Downloadable Products"

7) In "My Downloadable Products" click on the link "Western X, XS, XE Model V1524C1 Trap Manual - Trap Manual". Note: your manuals will be stored in "My Account" for future reference.
